The Public Information Evening is an opportunity for members of Alcoholics Anonymous to invite guests from their local community to learn more about how A.A. helps alcoholics to recover from alcoholism and how their recovery impacts on the wider community in a positive way.

The evening will include stories of alcoholics who have recovered using the 12 Steps of AA, a brief history of Alcoholics Anonymous, followed by a panel discussion with a Q&A session.

A light supper on arrival will be provided at the event.

To help cover costs and in view of the A.A. 7th Tradition, members of Alcoholics Anonymous, are asked to pay for their ticket and the ticket of their guest attending the event.

How Australia is Bringing AA to the World

A day of information and inspiration on how AA is being taken by AA’s from Australia and shared with the rest of the world. There will be a presentation from the GSO on the trips to India and Fiji as well as talks from past World Service Delegates on their journeys and meetings around the world in the last ten years or so. Also a presentation on the structure review process to date.
